About the Role:
Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is looking for an energetic and personable Bartender to join our team in the charming coastal town of Southport, NC! If you love crafting great drinks, creating memorable guest experiences, and thriving in a lively atmosphere, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest requests
- Greet and engage guests, providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all times
- Process guest payments accurately using a POS system
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a seamless dining and bar experience
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and communicate low stock to management
Requirements:
- Previous bartending or bar service experience preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Must meet minimum age requirement to serve alcohol in North Carolina
- ABC permit or willingness to obtain one upon hire
- Strong communication skills and an outgoing, guest-focused personality
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
