About the Role:
Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is looking for an energetic and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our team in the charming coastal town of Southport, NC. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all front of house operations to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage FOH staff including servers, hosts, and bartenders
- Monitor dining room flow, table turns, and guest satisfaction during service
- Collaborate with kitchen and back of house teams to maintain smooth communication and service standards
- Handle guest concerns, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and urgency
- Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations
Requirements:
- 2+ years of restaurant management or front of house supervisory experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and guest relations skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic restaurant technology
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a high-volume environment
- Food Handler Certification or ServSafe Manager Certification preferred
- Positive, solutions-oriented attitude with a passion for hospitality

Compensation: $49,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
