About the Role:
Fin & Crab is looking for a driven and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team in Charleston, SC! This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role at a dynamic company where your passion for operations and people management will make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring a high-quality guest experience
- Lead, coach, and develop front-of-house and back-of-house team members
- Monitor and manage labor costs, scheduling, and staffing levels
- Assist in inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Enforce company policies, safety standards, and compliance procedures
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency
- Drive sales performance and assist in meeting revenue and profitability goals
Requirements:
- 2+ years of management experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or food & beverage environment
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-volume setting
- Strong knowledge of P&L management, labor control, and inventory practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Food Handler Certification or ServSafe certification preferred
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Positive, hands-on leadership style with a passion for hospitality
