About the Role:
Salty Mike's is looking for a confident and professional Doorman/Bouncer to join our team! This is your chance to be the first face guests see and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced nightlife setting and have a commanding yet approachable presence, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control entry points, checking IDs and verifying age compliance
- Enforce venue capacity limits and ensure adherence to local regulations
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff
- De-escalate conflicts and remove disruptive patrons when necessary
- Coordinate with bar staff and management to address security concerns
- Monitor crowd behavior on the floor and at the entrance throughout the night
- Communicate effectively with local law enforcement when required
Requirements:
- Prior experience in security, bouncing, or crowd control preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a loud, high-energy environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor at all times
- SC Security license or willingness to obtain one is a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
