We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and upkeep of our building systems and equipment. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment that supports our organizational goals. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware
- Conduct carpentry and maintenance painting tasks to uphold facility aesthetics and safety standards.
- Maintain facilities equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff delivering excellent customer service while resolving issues efficiently.
- Support the upkeep of building interior spaces through carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and general facilities maintenance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Carpenter is preferred
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
- Ability to read and take action on blueprints
- Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
